Linen Napkins + Tea Towels
Linen is a wonderful fabric that can last many many years. Proper care will help lengthen their life!
Below you’ll find a few suggestions that will help your linens to wear softly and smoothly through laundering.
These linens are made with care and meant to last, treat ‘em well and they’ll live a long while!
-
Machine Washing:
Machine wash with mild/neutral detergent in cool water with similar colors. Avoid wringing or twisting so that the fibers don’t warp.
-
Drying:
Tumble dry low/medium, line dry, or lay flat on a towel. Over-drying is the most harmful process for fabrics as it weakens the fibers causing shrinkage and pilling. Drying white linen in the sun helps to retain the original white color, but will fade dyed fabrics over time.
-
Ironing:
Remove your linens from the dryer while still damp to reduce wrinkles. Smooth and fold, or press with an iron if desired. Use a steam iron on a warm/hot setting for linen and a water spritzer if needed.
